Push notifications are a core feature of the UnionConnect app. Any push notification you send out will put an alert on users\x27 phones that is hard to ignore. They are a quick and easy way to get messages out to your members fast and efficiently. Push notifications are free and unlimited. Be careful though as they are powerful and you shouldn\x27t send too many in a short timespan to stress their importance to your members.
Any bell icon that can be seen in the app manager can be used to send a push notification to the entire local, groups of members, or individuals. Bell icons also appear next to content items (news, events, resources, forms), letting you attach content directly to a notification so members can open it from the alert.
