Privacy Policy

The short version: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we never hand your name or email to advertisers. We use website analytics to see how well our marketing and client service are working. We don't currently show you our ads around the web after you visit — though we may add that someday, and even then we'd never use your personal details to do it. That's the whole story.

This policy covers the unionconnect.com website. The UnionConnect app and the services we provide to client unions are covered separately by our service privacy policy.

What we collect

• Analytics data. As you browse, we use Google Analytics to record things like which pages you view, how you arrived (for example, a search result or one of our ads), your approximate location (city or region), and your device and browser type.
• Information you give us. If you fill out a contact or demo-request form, we collect what you submit — your name, email, organization, and any message — so we can respond and follow up.

How we use it

We use this information only to:

• Measure how effective our marketing is — which pages and campaigns bring in genuinely interested visitors.
• Improve this website and the service we provide to client unions.
• Respond to your inquiries and deliver what you ask for.

We do not sell your information, and we never give anyone your personal details to build their own profile of you.

Advertising & remarketing

UnionConnect advertises online, so you may have found us through one of our ads. We do not currently use remarketing — we don't re-show you our ads on other websites or apps based on your visit here.

We may add remarketing in the future. If we ever do, it would work through anonymous cookies, not your personal information: ad networks like Google Ads would only know that "someone who visited unionconnect.com" can be shown our ad — they would never receive your name, email, or anything you typed into a form. You would be able to opt out anytime through Google's Ad Settings or the analytics opt-out below.

What we never do

We never sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their own use. The only outside parties that ever touch your data are the service providers that help us run the site and our ads — such as Google Analytics and Google Ads — and only to do that job on our behalf, never to sell or repurpose it.

Cookies & analytics

Our analytics use cookies to tell return visits apart and measure engagement. If you would rather not be measured, you can turn off cookies in your browser or install Google's official Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works exactly the same either way.

Your information, your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just get in touch and we will take care of it.
